About Me

Hello, I'm Jamie! I'm 35 years old, I live in Colorado, and I have a double-major in Psychology and Creative Non-Fiction Writing. I am a trained solutions-focused coach and victim advocate with the Sheriff's office. This blog is my creative outlet to write about my favorite things: psychology, true crime, and reality TV.

 

I lay all that out because I don't want to trick anyone into thinking I'm more qualified than I am. I am not a therapist or mental health professional. This blog should be taken more as a creative writing exercise than mental health advice.

I am writing under a pseudonym based on my real name. I use Jamie Michelle because I don't want this blog showing up when you google my actual name, which I'm trying to keep professional and related to my day job as a software engineer.
